Washington: John Ratcliffe, director of the US intelligence agency Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), has claimed that the US attack was badly ruined by Iran’s nuclear program. Iran’s only metal conversion center has been destroyed. Iran’s nuclear program has been given a major setback, it will take years to overcome it. An American official gave this information. Ratcliffe gave this information to US MPs.

The Metal Conversion Center is the place where radioactive elements such as uranium are changed from one form to another, so that they can be used in the manufacture of nuclear power or nuclear weapons. An official informed that Ratcliffe explained the severity and importance of the attacks on these centers in a special meeting for US MPs last week.

Democratic MPs raised questions

The Democratic party MPs and others raised the question that how much damage was done to Iran in the attacks by the US before the ceasefire in Iran-Israel on Tuesday, which was survived by President Donald Trump and his government. Meanwhile, information about these confidential meetings has been revealed.

Donald Trump, while talking about the American role in the Israeli-Iran struggle in a media interview, said that it was a devastation that no one had ever seen before. This means that his (Iran’s) nuclear intentions have been tarnished for at least some time.

Iran’s nuclear program wasted

Ratcliffe also told the MPs that intelligence agencies estimate that most of the promoted uranium deposited by Iran is now probably under debris in Isfahan and Fords. Both these places are one of the three main nuclear centers targeted in US attacks. The official said that even though uranium is safe, the metal conversion center was destroyed, Tehran’s ability to make bombs has been almost damaged for the next several years.
