
The 138th edition of Wimbledon is set to begin on June 30 at the iconic All England Club in London, with the world’s top tennis talent ready to compete for the coveted Grand Slam title.
Elite names like Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Aryna Sabalenka, and more take centre stage as the prestigious tournament gets underway.
The first week will see action in men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. The second week, from July 8 to 13, will feature wheelchair competitions, junior championships, and invitational events.
All eyes will be on Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, the defending champion and newly crowned French Open 2025 winner. After defeating Jannik Sinner in the Roland Garros final, Alcaraz enters Wimbledon aiming to defend his crown and further solidify his dominance on the grass courts.
Four Indian tennis players will be in action at Wimbledon 2025, all in the men’s doubles. Veteran Rohan Bopanna will partner Sander Gillé of Belgium while Yuki Bhambhri has teamed up with USA’s Robert Galloway with the Indo-American duo seeded 16th.
Rithwik Bollipalli will play alongside Romania’s Nicolás Barrientos and N. Sriram Balaji has paired up with Mexico’s Miguel Reyes-Varela.
