The month of July is starting from tomorrow. Some changes happen on the first date of every month. Many big changes are also going to happen in the month of July. This includes all the important rules from LPG gas cylinder to ATM charge. Not only this, a big change related to train tickets is also going to happen from July 1. LPG and ATF prices

On the first date of every month, oil marketing companies revise the prices of LPG gas and jet fuel. At the beginning of June, oil companies had reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders, however, the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders have not come down for a long time. Apart from this, companies also change the prices of ATF on the first date of the month, which affects your air travel.

Changes in small savings schemes

The government reviews the interest rates of Post Office Small Savings Scheme every three months. These small schemes include Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, FD, NSC, PPF, KVP etc. If any change is announced in these rates today on 30 June, then the new rates will come into effect from 1 July. The new rates will be applicable for the quarter from July to September.

Train tickets may become expensive

Train tickets are going to become expensive for the common man from 1 July. According to sources, from 1 July, the fare of non-AC coaches can be increased by 1 paisa per kilometer and the fare of AC coaches can be increased by 2 paisa per kilometer.

New rules regarding Tatkal tickets

During Tatkal ticket booking of trains, agents will not be allowed to book for half an hour before 1 July. This will curb the brokers and increase the chances of people getting more and more Tatkal tickets. Apart from this, while booking tickets, users will also have to provide OTP. This OTP will be sent to them on the registered mobile on the IRCTC website. With this, more and more people are going to get Tatkal train tickets in the system. However, OTP based Tatkal ticket booking will be mandatory from July 15.

Changes in ICICI Bank's service charges

ICICI Bank has changed the service charge for some of its services. Now customers will have to pay more charges for all the services. These services include demand draft, withdrawal of money from ATMs of other banks in metro and non-metro cities, depositing and withdrawing cash, and debit card fees etc. The new charges will come into effect from July 1.

Changes in credit card rules

If you use HDFC Bank Credit Card, then it is going to be expensive for you from July 1, 2025. You may have to pay extra fees for making utility bill payments. On the other hand, 1% charge will be levied for depositing more than Rs 10,000 in digital wallets in a month using HDFC credit card.

Rules for making PAN card

The rules for making PAN card are also going to change from July 1, 2025. Now to get a PAN card, you will have to compulsorily provide Aadhaar card. At the same time, those who already have both these documents will have to link them. The last date for this is 31 December 2025.
