He is a proud landlord looking for a rich groom for his daughter Malti (Karishma Kapoor). To take revenge on Hoshiyar’s arrogance a matchmaker sets him up with Raju disguised as a wealthy man. What follows is a laughter riot and confusion. A Cultural Phenomenon Made on a humble budget of ₹3.50 crore the film turned out to be a massive hit and it earned Rs. 21.15 crores at the box office.
