Club World Cup: Al Hilal defeated Manchester City in quarter finals

Orlando: Marcos Leonardo performed brilliantly, winning Al Hilal 4-3 over Manchester City. With this, the team has entered the FIFA Club World Cup quarter -finals. Bernardo Silva scored in the ninth minute. After this, both teams made constant efforts, but no other goal came in this half.

In the second half, Marcos Leonardo (46) and Malcolm (52) scored a goal to lead Al-Hilal 2–1, but three minutes later Eraling Heland (55) scored a goal and soon brought Manchester City on par.

Al-Hilal again gained an edge with the help of Kalidau Kaulibali (94) in additional time, but Phil Foden’s 100th City goal brought the city on par. Leonardo proved to be the match winner for al-Hilal. Leonardo scored a goal in the 112th minute to put Al-Hilal ahead 4-3.

After the match, Kalidau Kaulibali said, “We knew that one of the best teams in the world was a difficult game against him. We wanted to show our thoughts, our talent, our strength. I think we think we played a very good game. We were very strong. We were very strong. Aggressally we took advantage of all the occasions, so we can be happy.” Al Hilal will now face Fluminance FC in the semi -finals on Friday. The match will be played at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Fluminance FC’s team has won the quarter-finals by winning a 2–0 match against Inter. If we look at the second quarter -final matches, Palmeras will clash with Chelsea, while the PSG will land with the intention of reaching the semi -finals against Bayern. The semi -finals are to be played on July 9 and 10. The title match will be held on 14 July.
