Balasan is a Sanskrit word, meaning ‘child’s posture’. Experts explain how this currency should be made. In this posture, the body is in a state of rest like a child. To do this, first of all sit on the ground on the ground. Rest your buttocks on the ankles and gradually tilt the body forward. Touch the forehead on the ground and spread both hands towards the front or keep it with the body. During this, take a deep breath and stay in this posture for some time.
Breathing, one should stay in this posture from 30 seconds to 1 minute. After this, gradually come back to normal condition. The Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India counts the benefits of Balasan, according to which the regular practice of Balasan calms the brain. It relaxes the nervous system and is also helpful in reducing stress, anxiety as well as fatigue. Not only this, Balasan is also beneficial for the digestive system, which gives relief in problems like indigestion, vata and constipation.
This asana is very beneficial for people working in the office. Balasan draws the spinal cord and gives relief in back pain as well as flexibility. In addition, it draws the hips, thighs and knees muscles, which increases flexibility in the body. This asana improves blood circulation, which makes energy in the body. Its practice reduces the problem of insomnia and helps in deep sleep.
However, pregnant women and people with a serious problem of knee or back should consult experts before doing Balasan. It is beneficial to do it on an empty stomach or a few hours after meals.
