In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood its usually the dazzling and glamorous life of celebrities that comes to the forefront. However their struggles and challenges are often overshadowed. One such story is of celebrated actor Saif Ali Khan and his family. Back at the beginning of this year an intruder entered Saifs Mumbai house and attacked him on the night of January 16th. What followed this tragic incident was trolling and various speculations about the incident including Kareena Kapoors trolling. After nearly 5 months of attack on Saif Ali Khan with a knife Kareena Kapoor has finally broken her silence and expressed her hurt. Recently in a conversation with Barkha Dutt on Mojo Story Kareena Kapoor opened up about how the media covered this tragic event and turned it into a point of gossip. She had criticised the media coverage when this event took place. However later she deleted that post. Kareena on humanity- What have we become? Expressing her hurt she said It was utter garbage. It makes me really… not angry because it is a really bad kind of emotion I never want to be angry because I don’t think it is in me but I just feel really sad that that’s what humanity has come to. Is that the kind of consumption that people really want? Is that what we are going to give them? Are you going to laud other people’s grief?” I was very anxious - Kareena Kapoor Kareena also revealed that she still feels anxious I am still grappling with what it feels like to see someone in your childs room. In Mumbai you really never hear about such incidents. Its very common in the US. In Mumbai we never hear about such incidents. We have still not come to terms 100 per cent. At least I haven’t. I was very anxious for the first couple of months. It was very difficult to sleep and get back to the person with that kind of normalcy. It has been a difficult journey - Kareena Kapoor Kareena reveals that she faced difficulty in overcoming fear: “I dont want to live in that fear for my children because it is wrong to put this stress on them. So it has been a difficult journey to overcome fear and anxiety and balance the fact that I am a mother and a wife as well. I am just happy and thank God that we are safe.” Speaking about the insensitivity in todays world she said: This is not the world I want my children to grow up in. We need to do better.”
