With the turn of the month comes the point clubs say goodbye to their players. June 30 marks the traditional end of contract period for footballers who have been unable to agree renewals and must move on to new ventures.

There have been no shortage of stars who have seen their deals tick down this year in the Premier League. A total of 51 players saw their contracts end on Monday.

Of course, some have already figured out their futures. Upon leaving Manchester City, Kevin De Bruyne has landed at Napoli, while Pablo Sarabia has departed Wolves for Al Arabi.

Others, in the shape of Jonny Evans and Adam Lallana have chosen to hang up their boots after seeing their deals expire. Evans will remain with Manchester United in acoaching capacity as his playing career ends.

The likes of Fulham's Tom Cairney, West Ham's Michail Antonio and Newcastle's Callum Wilson are currently set for pastures new. But new deals have not yet been ruled out with the former nearing a one-year extension.

But plenty of the Premier League's out-of-contract stars are still without a club. Mirror Football takes a look at the XI that could be made.

There are no shortage of goalkeeping options to select this summer with the vast majority holding veteran status. The likes of Scott Carson and Asmir Begovic have certainly been around the Premier League for a while in back-up positions, and more was probably expected of Danny Ward after seven seasons at Leicester.

Lukasz Fabianski still notched 14 Premier League appearances last term however, which sees him win the place in goal. At 40, the Polish has yet to announce a retirement after saying goodbye to the London Stadium.

The battle at right-back is a stiff one but ex-Fulham man Kenny Tete wins out over Nelson Semedo and Kyle Walker-Peters . The departing Southampton defender's experience on the left sees him win a place anyway over figures such as Sergio Reguilon and Aaron Cresswell.

A defensive partnership of Victor Lindelof and Kurt Zouma sees off competition from Michael Keane and Ben Mee.

That Arsenal attempted to persaude Thomas Partey to remain at the Emirates, and that the midfielder has been linked to Barcelona suggests he probably has the pedigree to make the XI. The Ghana international could anchor a midfielder including creativity from Christian Eriksen and the legs and talent of Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin may be the forward option with the most top-flight options this summer and his all round game ensures he makes the cut. There are pure goalscorers remaining in the shape of Callum Wilson and Jamie Vardy however, in addition to remaining options in the shape of Michail Antonio and Danny Ings.

Willian's Fulham exit may have facilitated some width and creativity this side would need. The crop of players without club is light on wingers with Ashley Young more well-versed as a full-back in recent times.

So far that reason, Vardy and Wilson will just have to put the ball in the net from balls over the top and knockdowns from Calvert-Lewin.

Free agent XI: Fabianski; Tete, Lindelof, Zouma, Walker-Peters; Partey, Eriksen, Doucoure; Wilson, Calvert-Lewin, Vardy.
