Arsenal 'submit offer for Chelsea's Noni Madueke' as Gunners eye blockbuster double swoop

Arsenal have reportedly submitted an offer to Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, who could leave Stamford Bridge this summer amid another wave of new arrivals at Stamford Bridge. Talks are said to have started and the England forward is among the players being considered to bolster Mikel Arteta's frontline.

Madueke was a regular under Enzo Maresca last season as Chelsea secured a return to the Champions League and claimed the UEFA Conference League title. But his future remains unclear due to strong competition in his position, with the Gunners attempting to strengthen their attacking options, having struggled with a lack of firepower in 2024/25.

Sky Sports Germany claim that an offer has been made to the player, though no bid has been submitted to Chelsea. The Gunners are also considering a move for Real Madrid star Rodrygo. Crystal Palace's creator-in-chief Eberechi Eze is another player on their radar.

A potential Rodrygo transfer remains conditional on the Brazil international seeking to leave the Spanish giants, which has been speculated as he continues to play a supporting role for Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.

Arsenal and Chelsea are no strangers to doing business with one another and are already in very advanced talks over goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is set to make the short journey to the Emirates. Jorginho and Kai Havertz have made the same move in recent seasons.

Madueke may opt to leave Chelsea following the arrivals of Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, while West Ham star Mohamed Kudus remains a target for Maresca's outfit at £60m.

However, the Italian boss has already stated his desire to keep Madueke at the club. "Noni is our player, you can read a lot of speculation at the moment but we consider Noni our player for the coming season," he said last month.

Arsenal had previously been interested due to Madueke's ability to perform on both flanks, which could aid the Gunners in their search for a capable Bukayo Saka backup, with Madueke also able to compete with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard on the opposite wing.

Martinelli has been linked with an exit to Saudi Arabia, though CBS Sports claim that despite interest from the Middle East, neither Arsenal nor the player are actively pushing for a move.

Arsenal are also trying to tie up deals for Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad and Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera this month.
