Police have released footage of the horror moment a 23-year-old opened fire on taxi passengers in broad daylight in Manchester. Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere has been sentenced to 16 years in prison following the shooting on Shaw Road in Oldham after pursuing two passengers on an electric bike.

After spotting two males in the back of a taxi in the Derker area of Oldham, he followed the vehicle on a Surron electric bike at around 12.30pm on January 16, dressed in all black with face coverings on. He began to shout at the driver to stop and the passengers to get out and then forced one of the rear passenger doors open, demanding the two passengers to get out, by which point the driver had run from the vehicle, fearing for his life.

The gunman then forced his way into the back of the taxi via the other passenger door, and as he did so, one of the passengers managed to escape and get onto the bike that Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere had left at the side of the road.

But the 23-year-old suspect pulled out his handgun and discharged the firearm, hitting the fleeing victim in the back.

He then pointed and fired his gun once through the open doors at the second passenger, Brandon Nolan, but by that point the passenger had exited the vehicle with a knife, and the bullet missed him.

Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere made off from the area and was picked up by another taxi moments later. He was tracked to an apartment block in Hulme, and a day later, specialist firearms officers carried out an arrest at an apartment he was staying in.

As Greater Manchester Police made their way into the apartment in the evening, a black Puma man bag was thrown from a window, which was later discovered.

It contained a small silver revolver that had a cylinder chamber with capacity for five bullets. Three bullets were loaded, and police believe the two bullets that were missing were used in the shooting the day before.

Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere was charged with two counts of attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life on Wednesday, January 22 2025.

Nine individuals were arrested throughout the investigation. Brandon Nolan was also sentenced to 12 months in prison for possession of a bladed article.

Detective Chief Inspector Charlotte Whalley from the GMP Major Incident Team said the sentencing marked a significant milestone in the "ongoing fight against gun violence in Oldham".

He added: "Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere showed a complete disregard for public safety when he opened fire in broad daylight back in January, endangering not just his intended targets but innocent members of our community who were simply going about their daily lives.

"Over the past year, our firearms unit has worked tirelessly to tackle gun crime across Oldham. We've increased patrols in known hotspots, conducted numerous weapons sweeps, and worked closely with community leaders to identify and disrupt criminal networks."

He said police had recovered 86 firearms across Greater Manchester between April 2024 and April 2025, and each one recovered "potentially saves lives and prevents incidents such as this one".
