Catford stabbing LIVE: Attack on London bus with suspects on the loose

Two people have been injured in an alleged bus stabbing that has sparked a huge emergency response in Catford, southeast London.
Witnesses have taken to X to desribe the horrific scene of two males "attempting to steal a phone".
Social media reports suggest that the incident unfolded on a bus and involved two victims, one of whom tried to intervene in the suspected attempted robbery.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said one person had been taken to a major trauma centre and another to a local hospital.
Emergency services are at the scene, with central Catford under a police cordon.
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for a statement.
