Make crispy potato chops during the rainy season, know easy recipe

Ingredients: Potatoes – 3 medium sized, oil – 1 tbsp, gram flour – 1 cup, onion chopped – 1/3 cup, ginger paste – ½ teaspoon, garlic paste – 1 teaspoon, green chillies – 1 chopped, turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon, chilli powder – 1/4 spoon – 1/4, coriander powder – 1 teaspoon – 1 spoon – Coriander leaf chopped – 1 tbsp, salt – as per taste, baking soda – a pinch, water – as required

Method: First of all, boil the potatoes by adding some salt to the water. Heat the oil in a small pan and add chopped onion to it. When the onion is roasted on medium flame, add ginger paste, garlic paste and chopped green chillies. When the raw smell of ginger and garlic goes on, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder to it. Now mash the boiled potatoes well with a hand mixer with an onion mixture.

Add chopped coriander and salt to it. When the potato mixture cools down, give it the shape of flattened chops with hands. Now make a thick batter by adding baking soda, salt and water to the gram flour. Heat oil in a pan. Dip the potatoes in gram flour solution and put it in hot oil. When the golden brown from one side becomes brown, turn them out. When brown and fried from both sides, crisp potato chops are ready.
