This time, Deepika has pinned India on the global map as Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honoured her with the Hollywood Walk of Fame star for the class of 2026 in the Motion Pictures category. Announced over a live stream, the actress becomes the only Indian to receive this prestigious accolade. Deepika shares the class with Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore and many more renowned performers.

Amongst various world-renowned names, Deepika has carved a distinctive space for herself across territories - the Indian entertainment industry as well a Hollywood. While several global figures have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, Deepika stands tall as the only Indian to be bestowed with this honour. With this recognition, she not only represents India on the global stage but also reinforces the country's presence and influence in the international arena.

Deepika has consistently brought glory to the nation on many fronts. Previously, she was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME in 2018 and was also a recipient of the TIME100 Impact Award. The global figure further made history by unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy at the final match in Qatar.
Workwise, Deepika will return to the big screen with Shah Rukh Khan’s King and Atlee’s high-concept sci-fi film. While the former aims for a 2026 release, the timeline of the latter, co-starring Allu Arjun, is yet to be disclosed. On the other hand, Deepika launched The Padukone School of Badminton (PSB), founded and funded by her and mentored by former World No. 1 and All England Champion and her dad, Prakash Padukone. It will coach badminton aspirants.
