Steve Smith’s team returns
Recently, Steve Smith was injured in the final of the World Test Championship 2025 against South Africa at Lord’s. On the last day of the match, while fielding in the slip, Smith suffered a small finger injury while taking a catch. After which he went out of the field. The 36 -year -old players could not be a part of this match again.
Because of this, Steve could not be a part of the first Test played against West Indies in Bridgetown. However, in the second match, he will once again be seen in White Jersey. Team management has included the name of the batsman in the final-11 for the second match.
Josh English out
Wicketkeeper batsman Josh English has been eliminated from the second match against the West Indies. Steve Smith was dropped when he arrived. If you look at the performance of English in the first match, then he could score only 17 runs including both innings. In the first innings, where his bat came in an innings of 5 runs off 15 balls, in the second innings, the right -hand batter faced 33 balls and scored just 12 runs.
