Amarnath Yatra 2025: The Holy Amarnath Yatra has started today, 3 July 2025, in which millions of devotees have gone out on the difficult paths of the Himalayas to see Baba Barfani. This 38 -day journey will end on 9 August 2025 on the day of Rakshabandhan. The first batch of devotees from the 48 km long Pahalgam road of Anantnag district and the 14 km long, standing climbing Baltal road in Ganderbal district "Hail Oh lod Shiva" Left with shouts. Importance of pair of white pigeons

Which was also listening to a couple of pigeons. Lord Shiva gave him a boon of immortality, and since then the couple appears in the cave. According to Jyotishacharya Radhakant Vats, the philosophy of these pigeons is a sign of awakening of the virtuous deeds of previous lives of devotees and attaining Shiva grace. It is a symbol of peace, love, prosperity and spiritual progress. Many devotees have claimed that their wishes were fulfilled after seeing these pigeons.

Travel preparations and security

Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board has made extensive arrangements to make the yatra smooth and safe. 581 para military companies have been deployed for security, and the Baltal route has been widened 14 feet, where the soldiers are deployed every 50 meters. It is mandatory for passengers to keep RFID card, medical certificate, and Aadhaar cards.
Registration has started from 14 April 2025, which is registered online. Pahalgam route, which goes to the cave via Chandanwadi, flea top, and Sheshnag, is relatively easy, but it takes 3 days. The Baltal route is small but hard, which takes 1-2 days. Passengers are advised not to forget to keep warm clothes, first aid kits, and water bottles.
