Damascus: After a two-day tour to the governorates of Idleb and Aleppo, a United Nations team demanded more funding for Syria to address the dire needs of families and children.

In order to assist Syria in rebuilding and recovering from a conflict that has lasted for over 14 years, the team spoke about goals and looked into methods to improve collaboration and partnerships.
In order to better understand the difficulties they face and the need to give livelihood and basic service restoration top priority in order to guarantee safe, voluntary, respectable, and long-lasting returns, they also visited with displaced communities and returnees from both within and outside of Syria.
More than 16 million Syrians are in need of humanitarian help, according to the United Nations Office in Syria, which stated the nation is still experiencing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.
Additionally, it reaffirmed the UN’s pledge to aid Syrian citizens and local administrations at this critical period.
