Virat Kohli’s record broke

Shubman Gill, batting brilliantly on the second day of the Edgbaston Test, crossed the 150 -run mark and made a big record. He has become the Indian player playing the biggest Test innings on the grounds of Birmingham.

Earlier this record was in the name of Virat Kohli, who scored 149 runs against England in 2018. Gill has also achieved the distinction of becoming the first Indian to score a 150+ test score in Birmingham.

Gill’s bat glowing on number-4

After making his debut in 2020, Shubman Gill has become an important part of the Indian batting order. Initially he took responsibility as opener and number-3, but now after Virat Kohli’s retirement, he has been given the role of number-4. This new responsibility has been fulfilled by Gill in a brilliant style. He has scored two consecutive Test centuries on this position, which has proved that he is equally reliable in the middle order. Shubman Gill has scored 2163 runs in 34 Tests so far, including 7 centuries and 7 half -centuries.

Captain Gill becomes Team India’s Sankatmochan

Shubman Gill played a brilliant innings of 147 runs in the last Test innings. Now in the second Test too, he has scored another century against England. After becoming a captain, his batting shows tremendous confidence and responsibility. Gill took command of the team in difficult circumstances and proved through two consecutive centuries that he was becoming the backbone of the Test team.
