In the ever-unpredictable world of cinema choices often shape destinies. A legendary diva Late Sridevi known for her timeless charm and remarkable screen presence once turned down two major projects that later became stepping stones for another rising star. What seemed like a mere decision at the time turned into a cinematic twist that reshaped two careers. While one gracefully stepped back the other stepped in and what followed was fame applause and newfound stardom. The Evergreen Queen Of Bollywood: Madhuri Dixit Here we are talking about actress Madhuri Dixit who is also known as the ‘Dhak-Dhak Girl’ of Bollywood. Sridevi and Madhuri both actresses have given many big hits in their film careers. In the 80s Sridevi was ruling Bollywood before Madhuri but the films that Sridevi rejected fell into Madhuri Dixits lap. There are not one but many such films that Madhuri got after Sridevi refused. All these films proved to be superhits and on the other hand the Dhak-Dhak girl got a name and fame in Bollywood. Sridevi Rejected Tezaab and Beta The film ‘Tezaab’ released in the year 1988 was first offered to Sridevi. By this time Sridevi had become the queen of Bollywood. Sridevi rejected this action flick to focus on a bigger project and Madhuri got a place in the film. The song Ek Do Teen from the film is still a hit and Madhuri got the name Mohini from this film. During this time Madhuri was struggling in Bollywood and she made people crazy with her dance and beauty. After Tezaab Sridevi also rejected the film Beta which was released in 1992 and Madhuri got entry in this film. Beta became the highest-grossing film of 1992 and all the songs of the film proved to be chartbusters. Madhuri And Her Shining Era The song Dhak-Dhak Karne Laga from the film ‘Beta’ is still a hit and after this song Madhuri got another name after Mohini Dhak-Dhak Girl. Madhuri had established herself in Bollywood by the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s and after this the actress gave hit after hit in the 90s which includes blockbusters like Ram Lakhan Prem Pratigya Tridev Dil Saajan Khalnayak Hum Aapke Hain Kaun Raja Prem Granth Koyla and Dil Toh Pagal Hai. During this period Sridevis magic started to fade and only Madhuri Dixit was seen in every second film.
