Rajasthan Weather: Monsoon wreaks havoc in Rajasthan, heavy rain alert in many districts, IMD issues warning

Rajasthan Weather: Monsoon has started in full swing in Rajasthan and in the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain was recorded in many parts of the state. Heavy to very heavy rain was seen at some places in western Rajasthan. Pokhran, Jaisalmer recorded the highest rainfall of 128 mm, due to which the area was flooded.

Will it rain for the next few days?

According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of Kota and Udaipur divisions. Rain activities will continue for the next three to four days in some parts of Kota, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Udaipur divisions of eastern Rajasthan. Heavy to very heavy rains may occur at some places in these areas, due to which life is likely to be affected.

The rain was a little slow in the capital Jaipur on Thursday. Good rain was recorded in areas like Tonk Road, Durgapura, Vaishali Nagar, Ajmer Road, Sikar Road and Jhotwara. 15 mm of rain was recorded in Jaipur in the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 33.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 25.6 degrees Celsius.

 

In which districts is there an alert?

The weather center has predicted moderate to heavy rains in the capital for the upcoming 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th July. Also, orange and yellow alerts have been issued in many districts for today and tomorrow:

Yellow Alert: There is a possibility of very heavy rain, thunder and lightning in Dausa, Jaipur and Tonk.
Orange Alert: Heavy rain warning has been issued in Alwar, Baran, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu and Sikar.
