RRC Eastern Railway Recruitment 2025: If you are associated with Scouts and Guides and want to do a government job in Indian Railways, then this news is for you. Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC Eastern Railway) of Eastern Railway has released a notification for recruitment to a total of 13 posts under Group C and Group D. This recruitment will be done under the Scouts and Guides quota. The application process will start from 9 July 2025 and will run till 8 August 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidates applying for Group C (Level 2) posts should have passed the 12th class from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. However, this minimum marks condition will not apply to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), and candidates having higher educational qualifications. Apart from this, 10th pass candidates who have an ITI or NAC certificate can also apply.

For Group D (Level 1) posts, only a 10th pass or a 10th with ITI/NAC certificate will be required.

Age Limit:
The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 30 years. Reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age limit—3 years for OBC category and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category men applying will have to pay a fee of Rs 500, out of which Rs 400 will be refunded on appearing in the written examination. On the other hand, SC, ST, PwBD, female candidates, ex-servicemen, minorities, and economically backward classes will have to pay only Rs 250, which will be fully refunded on appearing in the examination. The fee will be accepted only through the online mode.
