Vivo X Fold 5 and X200 Fe why are not suitable for common Indian buyers?

Vivo X Fold and Vivo X2 FE will be launched in India on 14 July. Although both devices have been launched in certain countries, they are yet to come to India. Vivo has mentioned many features of both devices, but the price of the device is unknown. Regarding the price of the device, the recent leaks indicate that these devices are not for the common Indian smartphone buyers.

The latest leak on X by Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@Yabhishekhd) has indicated us about the price of the device. The Vivo X Fold 5 will be launched as a premium smartphone in India and will be available in a single 16GB+512GB option. The device is expected to cost Rs 1,49,999. The very small portion of Indian smartphone buyers chooses the option of smartphones priced more than Rs 1 lakh.

On the other hand, the 12GB + 256GB variant of Vivo X2 FE is expected to be Rs 54,999, while the top 16GB + 512GB variant will be priced at Rs 59,999. Those who are planning to buy a premium mid-range smartphone can choose this smartphone. However, most buyers choose smartphones priced below Rs 50,000.

Global model

The Vivo X Fold 5 has a strong Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and has LPDDR5X RAM up to 16 GB. Storage is UFS4.1 on-board storage up to 1TB. Talking about the camera specification, the Vivo X Fold 5 has a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Selfie cameras are 20 megapixel front-facing cameras.

The Vivo X 200 FE has a rear camera setup of the 50mp Zeiss Main Camera (OIS), 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and 50MP ZEISS super telephoto camera. The processor dimensions on the device are 9300+ and is paired with 12GB or 16GB RAM. Talking about the display, the device offers a 6.31-inch Ltpo Amoled display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Peak Brightness is 4500 Nits.
