BPSC 71st CCE Prelims 2025: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced a shift in the date for the 71st Integrated Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination. Initially, to be held on September 10, 2025, the preliminary exam has now been rescheduled to September 13, 2025. Candidates can check the revised notification on the official BPSC website at bpsc.bihar.gov.in.In a related update, the Assistant Section Officer (Preliminary) Competitive Examination, notified by Advt. No. 37/2025, will be held on September 10, as against the previous date of September 13.BPSC recently updated the vacancies for the 71st CCE with the addition of 34 new posts, which increased the number of available posts to 1,298.The applicants were required to submit a fee of Rs 200 together with the application fee of Rs 600. But a concessionary fee of Rs 150 was applicable to SC/ST candidates resident in Bihar, female candidates who are permanent residents of Bihar, and candidates with 40% or more disability.To be eligible, the candidates should have passed graduation in any stream. The minimum age is 20 years, whereas the maximum age limit is 37 years for the general category of candidates.
