In a video shared on her Instagram stories, Priyanka was seen smiling and enjoying a fireworks display surrounded by a large crowd. The clip also featured a sweet moment where Nick planted a kiss on her cheek. She captioned the video, “Happy 4th of July to all celebrating.”

While fans in the U.S. admired the post, several Indian followers were quick to criticize the actress for what they called “double standards”. Many netizens pointed out her earlier stance on air pollution during Diwali and questioned her silence on the environmental impact of fireworks now.

“Pollution lectures only on Diwali,” one comment read. Others added, “Air pollution?” and “Aur didi air pollution?”—echoing frustration over what they see as selective activism.
