Heat 1 tsp desi ghee in a pan. Add 1 cup of makhana and fry for 5–7 minutes. Then add salt, chaat masala or light pepper as per taste and mix well. The best in taste, and if the amount of ghee is kept low, then it is also a suitable option for weight loss.
3. Masala Makhana
Fry makhana in 1 tsp oil or ghee. When the makhana becomes crisp, turn off the heat. Now put it in:

- 4 tsp red chillies,
- ½ tsp Chaat Masala or Amchur,
- Salt as per taste.
