Akash Deep took two wickets and Mohammed Siraj took one as India gave early blows in the second innings against England. England are 72 for 3 chasing a mammoth target of 608 at the end of the fourth day of the second Test on Saturday. Now England have to score 536 more runs to win on the last day so that they can maintain a 1-0 lead in the five-match series of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Akash Deep sent Ben Duckett (25) and Joe Root (6) to the pavilion while Siraj dismissed Zak Crawley (0) in the second over. Earlier India declared the innings at 427 for 6 in the final session. Shubman Gill scored his second consecutive century (161) while KL Rahul (55) Rishabh Pant (65) and Ravindra Jadeja hit half-centuries. India now need only 7 wickets to win their first ever Test match at Edgbaston Stadium.
