
Bihar Home Guard Result 2025: Bihar Home Guard Department has released the final merit list 2025 for recruitment to 15,000 posts. This list is available on the official website of the department onlinebhg.bihar.gov.in, where candidates can view and download the result according to their district.
Which district's list has been released?
At present, the 10 districts for which the merit list has been published include: Araria, Aurangabad, Banka, Bettiah (West Champaran), Darbhanga, Kishanganj, Munger, Purnia, Sheikhpura, and Sheohar.
Vacancy: 15,000 posts will be recruited in 37 districts
Under this recruitment drive, 15,000 vacant posts of Home Guard will be filled, and 37 districts of the state (except Arwal District, Police District Naugachia, and Bagaha District) will be covered. The registration process for this recruitment started on March 27, 2025, and the applications ended on April 16, 2025.
Next Step: Document Verification and Medical Test
After the name appears in the final merit list, the candidates will now be called for document verification and medical examination. The schedule of each district will be different, and the detailed information of which will be uploaded on the respective portal soon. Candidates are advised to keep a constant watch on the portal.
Selection Process: Direct Recruitment without Written Examination
No written examination of any kind was kept in this recruitment process. The entire selection has been done on the basis of PMT (Physical Standard Test) and PET (Physical Efficiency Test). Candidates who have cleared these exams will now be eligible for the next stage.
