In an interview with On on July 4, Wong shared his thoughts on marriage, revealing that he has not dated anyone in recent years and does not seek or wait for love. He explained that his upbringing in a single-parent household influenced his perspective on relationships.
“You may find me aloof or too practical, but for me, the most important things are my mother, my work, and my friends,” he said. “Love can’t be forced.”
Wong added that while he is uncertain whether his views on marriage will change in the future, he is currently living a single life and has no plans to have children. He described himself as having a hot temper, feeling not yet mature enough, and not ready to be a father. In his free time, Wong enjoys going out for meals with friends and dedicating time to his passion for working out.
Wong has had several relationships and been linked to multiple dating rumors. His longest relationship was with Hong Kong actress-singer Myolie Wu, with whom he broke up in 2012 after eight years together. Wong admitted that he struggled to provide a sense of security for his partners. Additionally, his ex-girlfriends were reportedly not favored by his mother.
Wong began his career in 1999 at TVB, where he hosted various variety shows and appeared in several drama series as an extra before making his official acting debut in 2002. He is best known for his roles in “Triumph in the Skies,” “Wars of In-laws,” and “Dicey Business.”
