CSIR UGC NET June 2025 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the timetable for the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 exam due to a date clash with the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024. The test, previously scheduled for July 26 and 27, 2025, will now be held on July 28, 2025.This was done following a number of candidates complaining that both exams were coming up on the same dates. NTA then rescheduled the CSIR UGC NET exam so as not to conflict with the appearance of the candidates in both tests. The CSIR UGC NET 2025 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and will take all subjects—Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences—on the new date. There will be three sections containing objective-type multiple-choice questions in the test and will be conducted without breaks. Candidates should respond in the language (Hindi or English) chosen by them in their application form.Details regarding the exam city will be notified 8 to 10 days prior to the exam via an Advance City Intimation Slip posted on the NTA website. Then the admit card will be released on the official website. The test is held to assess candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor recruitment, and Ph.D. enrollment in Indian universities and colleges. For additional information or assistance, aspirants may connect with NTA through email at csirnet@nta.ac.in or through helpline numbers 011-40759000 and 011-69227700. For all official notifications, the website nta.ac.in is accessible.
