
RRB NTPC UG Application Form Status: This is an important update for the youth preparing for a job in the railways. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the application form status of the candidates who applied for the NTPC Undergraduate Level Recruitment Exam 2025. Candidates who had applied for this recruitment after passing the 12th can now check whether their form has been accepted or rejected by visiting the official website www.rrbapply.gov.in.
Railways has also sent information about the form status to the candidates on their registered mobile number and email ID. No request from the candidates whose forms have been rejected will be accepted.
Exam Date and Exam City Details
RRB NTPC UG Level Exam will be conducted from 7th August to 8th September 2025. Information about the exam center (exam city) will be released 10 days before the exam. Along with this, the traveling authority of SC/ST candidates will also be issued.
Admit cards will be issued four days before the exam date. That is, those who have their exam on 7th August, their admit cards will be issued on 3rd or 4th August.
Total vacancies and details of posts
A total of 3445 posts will be recruited under this recruitment. Which includes:
Commercial cum Ticket Clerk – 2022 posts
Train Clerk – 72 posts
Accounts Clerk cum Typist – 361 posts
Junior Clerk cum Typist – 990 posts
At the same time, the examination for 8113 posts of Graduate Level NTPC Recruitment has already been done, and now the result will be released.
RRB NTPC UG Exam Pattern and Selection Process
The selection process of the Railway NTPC Undergraduate Level Recruitment Examination is completed in three stages. First of all, the first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) is conducted, in which the candidates are given 90 minutes. There are a total of 100 questions in this exam, out of which 40 questions are from General Awareness, 30 questions from Mathematics, and 30 questions from Reasoning. Negative marking of 0.33 marks is also done for every wrong answer.
After this, there is a second stage, CBT 2. This is also a 90-minute exam, which has a total of 120 questions. Out of these, 50 questions are from General Awareness, 35 questions from Maths, and 35 questions from Reasoning. This stage is the same for all posts.
For some posts, such as typist posts, candidates have to go through an additional stage called Typing Skill Test. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of marks obtained in all these stages and the required qualifications as per the post.
