
Mumbai: The Vakola Police have launched a manhunt for a masked man who illegally entered the home of a deceased police officer's widow in Santacruz and looted her gold chain worth ₹95,000.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon when the 72-year-old woman, who lives alone, was attacked inside her home.
According to the police, the intruder forcibly entered the house and snatched her gold chain. When she resisted, the masked man allegedly pulled her by the hair, dragged her to the door, slammed her head against a surface, and punched her on her face and hands, causing injuries before fleeing the scene.
