The couch is packed, the stories are wild, and the laughter? Non-stop. This Saturday, The Great Indian Kapil Show is rolling out a fun-filled episode featuring OTT’s finest: Jaideep Ahlawat , Vijay Varma , Jitendra Kumar , and Pratik Gandhi . These four aren’t just powerhouse performers — turns out, they’re also loaded with the kind of backstories you’d expect in a movie… and maybe even wilder.

We have always heard of the ‘Struggle’ and are inspired by the lengths an actor who loves their craft can go to for a role, for a chance and to create impact. But listening to some of India’s biggest streaming stars speak about their big break, who they were before they got it and how passionate they were in their resolve to make it happen is what inspired us the most during this episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show.

Jeetu, our favourite professor from Kota Factory wasn’t just portraying a role of preparing students for IIT but has experienced the IIT life himself. His choice of career after being an IIT graduate came as a shock to Kapil, to which Pratik Gandhi promptly replied, “Engineering ke baad aap ko sach mein pata chalta hai ki aapko life mein kya karna hai.” We know many viewers watching at home will definitely begin nodding at the truth to that statement.

The flip side to Pratik and Jeetu being engineers who found acting by chance are Vijay Verma and Jaideep Ahlawat who knew they wanted to be actors from the start. From Vijay Verma sharing, “Maine ek dost ko bola mera selection ho gaya mere paas paise nahin hai zyada, usne paise dediye fees ke, maine kaha ab permission toh nahin milegi ghar se, bhaagte hai, toh main ghar se bhaag gaya!” and Jaideep sharing about how he and Vijay have been batchmates since FTII and used to dream of the day they would see themselves on the big screen. When you watch this episode of TGIKS it feels like the famous SRK Om-Shanti-Om dialogue coming to life. Because the universe really has given these 4 their well deserved fame that continues to grow.

Given the amount of success the actors have had, Sunil Grover aka Diamond Raja will be teaching them how to navigate the success with his ‘audition anthem’ that could give Bollywood item songs a run for their money! He also teaches them how to strike left, right, and “open-to-options” poses to prepare for their Oscar moment.

If all the anecdotes, running away and engineering waala pyaar stories were not enough, we also managed to see Jaideep groove on stage with the airport security divas Sona and Mona (you know WHO they are) who are rulers of the airport rather than guards. While Jaideep’s acting is always razor sharp his moves too are quite “qatal”!

And just when you think the episode can’t pack any more surprises — Korean superstar Jackson Wang lands on the TGIKS set, making this one of the most unexpected and exciting episodes of the season so far where K-pop meets Ka-Pil.
