Donny Osmond was flooded with messages of support after the singer was recently hospitalised. The Puppy Love hitmaker, 67, reassured fans he is doing well but did not share details as why he had been admitted. Donny could be seen wearing a hospital gown and a nasal cannula, as medical staff tended to him in the operating room. Several tubes were attached the performer as he appeared to have been placed under a mild sedative after he began singing while doctors performed the surgery. In the background someone could be heard saying, "When are you going to start singing?"

He immediately broke out into song with the Disney classic, Let's Get Down To Business, from the 1998 movie Mulan. The poignant song was sang by the American singer for the popular film as he voiced Captain Shang. Donny then commented, "I'm starting to get dizzy," before continuing with the song. He slowly closed his eyes and began to fall asleep. Later on the clip, Donny was awake where he continued singing. Donny shared the candid clip with his 212,000 followers on X on Wednesday. He captioned the post: "What better way to power through a procedure than singing your alltime favorite rally song?! I'm feeling all better now! #Mulan #DonnyOsmond #Surgery."

The legendary performer was swiftly inundated with messages of support from his legion of fans who shared their concern for the beloved singer.

One penned: "Oh this hurt my heart. Feel better soon."

Another commented: "Oh my goodness, I loved that except for the fact you had to have surgery. Glad you're all better now!"

A fourth added: "Wishing you a quick recovery!" While a fifth added: "Feel better soon."

Donny rose to superstardom as a teen idol in the early 1970s, scoring several Top 10 songs in the US and overseas.

As a member of the family pop group The Osmonds, Donny was its youngest and most popular member.

He shared details of the year his career exploded, and the impact it had on his personal and professional life.

"I had no idea of the impact 'Puppy Love' was having until I did it live," he recalled to the Express in 2022. "Keep in mind, I'd only previously sung it about three times.

"So the intro came in, and everyone was screaming already, and I sang the opening line, and then I forgot all the words. But, here's the thing, nobody could tell the difference because of the screaming! I was just making up words."
