Patna, Bihar – July 12: A shocking case has come to light from Bihar’s capital, Patna, where a minor girl died after engaging in sexual intercourse with her alleged boyfriend. The incident took place on Friday in the Jakkanpur police station area. The girl, a resident of Jehanabad, reportedly suffered heavy bleeding during sex due to a hymen tear, which led to her deteriorating condition and eventual death. Both the boy and girl were minors.
According to sources, the two had met just ten days earlier at Jehanabad railway station. On Friday, the boy called the girl to Patna and took her to a friend’s room in the Karbigahiya locality. It was there that they engaged in sexual activity. During intercourse, the girl began bleeding heavily. Seeing this, the boy panicked and rushed her to a private hospital.
Given the seriousness of her condition, doctors referred her to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH). However, she was declared dead on arrival.
After the incident, Patna police took swift action. The girl’s body was sent for post-mortem examination. Both the boy and his friend have been detained and are currently being questioned. Jakkanpur police station in-charge Manish Kumar said a formal FIR will be lodged after the girl’s statement report (fard bayan) is recorded.
Told Family She Was Going to See Her Father
The girl’s grandfather stated that she had studied only up to Class 5 and had left school afterward. Her father works as a carpenter. She had told the family she was going to Jehanabad to meet him, but they had no idea she ended up in Patna. The detained boy is also unknown to the family. The grandfather added that they only learned of her death after reaching Patna.
This disturbing incident has once again raised concerns over teenage relationships, lack of awareness among minors, and the need for stronger societal and parental vigilance.
