As the critics' reviews and the word of mouth are not great, one cannot expect a huge jump at the box office during the weekend. According to early estimates, Maalik, which also stars Manushi Chhillar in the lead role, might collect around Rs. 4-5 crore on its second day. However, if the movie shows growth during the night shows, then it can collect more than Rs. 5 crore on its day two. The movie is expected to show a jump on its day 2 and might collect around Rs. 40 lakh. But, after such a disastrous opening, we have no expectations from the film.
