New Delhi. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has taken another step towards space. ISRO said on Saturday that it has successfully developed the ‘Service Module Propulsion System’ (SMPS) for Gaganyaan Mission, along with completing the ‘qualification test program’ (qualification test program). This system can be called the engine of Gaganyaan. A full -term ‘hot test’ of SMPS was conducted for 350 seconds to validate the integrated performance of SMPS. The test conducted in real circumstances was conducted on Friday for a service module-based ‘Flight of Nominal Mission Profiles’.

The ‘Flight of Nominal Mission Profiles’ is to the flight path of an aircraft and its other activities. Gaganyaan Mission is India’s first human spacecraft mission. Along with this, India has achieved a great success for sending humans to space. Let us tell you that Shubhanshu Shukla is currently in the international space station.

What is the propulsion system of Gaganyaan

The propulsion system will act like the engine of Gaganyaan. After going into space, this will work to control and pursue Gaganyaan. This will be useful to change the classroom, change direction and slow down the sky. Apart from this, it will also contribute significantly in returning to earth. It will use two types of fuel. There will be a use of liquid Apoji Motors for large operations. The reaction control system will be used for the thruster.

ISRO tested this model at least 25 times in a different environment. At the same time, it was seen by running the engine for 14 thousand seconds whether it is ready for astronauts or not. This success means that now ISRO is able to create a safe spacecraft for humans. Now ISRO’s team will work hard in this work and will start preparing for the space mission. India will become the fourth country with space technology as Gaganyaan fly. America, Russia and China are already sending astronauts to space.
