1. Brinjal
Consumption of brinjal in Sawan is considered to be forbidden from both religious and health. In Ayurveda, it has been called ‘Tamasi Vegetable’, which can slow down digestion. Some elements present in brinjal can cause allergies, skin irritation and indigestion. Especially during fast and worship, its consumption is prohibited. It is advisable not to eat it during the rainy season.
2. Cauliflower and Cabbage
In the rainy season, cauliflower and cabbage are more likely to grow germs and bacteria. Their texture is such that it is difficult to clean them completely. If they are not washed properly, then problems like stomach infection, food poisoning and indigestion can occur. Apart from this, these vegetables also increase gas and blotting.
3. Jackfruit
Jackfruit is as excellent in taste, it is considered heavy for digestion. Its hot effect can unbalance the body temperature in the humidity of the spring. Its intake can cause stomach heaviness, gas and acidity. People who have constipation or liver problems, they should stay away from it especially.
4. Bhendi
Bhendi or Okra is generally considered healthy, but its sticky nature can cause intestinal obstruction during the Sawan season. This can cause problems like gas, indigestion and inflammation. If your digestive system is weak, then avoid the consumption of ladyfinger in this season.
5. Raw Tomato
Raw or half -baked tomatoes contain chemicals called solanin, which can increase acidity and gas. The effect of tomato is cold, which can further increase phlegm defects during the rainy season. Therefore, always consume tomatoes and consume it in limited quantity.
