META has recently hired Ruoming Pang, who has worked in Apple and has been offered a huge package of about 200 million US dollars (₹ 1670 crore). Earlier, Trapit Bansal, who read from Kanpur, was also hired by META on a package of ₹ 800 crore. But the package given to Ruoming shows that Meta now wants to connect the top talent with it at any cost.

Why is such a big salary being given in Superintelligence Labs?

According to Bloomberg report, the Superintelligence Group is the only division where employees are being given the world’s highest technology salary. These salary packages include base salary, bonus and meta stocks. The special thing is that if an employee leaves the stake of his previous company for META, then the company is ready to compensate for it.

However, these high-end packages also have conditions. If the employee leaves the company quickly or the stocks of Meta fall, the payment may be cut. The company wants to maintain the performance and loyalty of the employees with these incentives.

Openai still ahead, but Meta’s challenge is serious

Similarweb’s report states that Openai’s market share in the traffic of Generative AI tools is 150 million+, while Google is second. META’s superintendent hiring is being done to break this market share.
