
Career in Banking: There is great news for the youth looking for a career in the banking sector. State Bank of India (SBI), Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), and Bank of Baroda (BOB) have started the application process for recruitment to a total of more than 9,000 posts of Probationary Officer (PO), Specialist Officer (SO), and Local Bank Officer (LBO). These recruitments are for graduate candidates.
What are those recruitments in the banking sector?
The first recruitment has been released by the State Bank of India. SBI has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to a total of 541 posts of Probationary Officer. The second recruitment has been notified by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Recruitment has been notified for a total of 5208 posts of Probationary Officer. The third recruitment has also been released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Recruitment has been notified for a total of 1,007 posts of Specialist Officer. The fourth and last recruitment has been notified by the Bank of Baroda. Recruitment has been notified for a total of 2500 posts of Local Bank Officer. The registration process for all these recruitments has started.
SBI PO Recruitment 2025: Recruitment for a total of 541 posts, last date near
State Bank of India (SBI) has started the recruitment process for 541 posts of Probationary Officer (PO). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 14 July 2025. A total of 541 posts will be recruited under the PO Recruitment 2025 released by SBI. It is mandatory for the candidates applying to have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university. Additionally, students who are in their final year and whose results will be declared by 31 December 2025 can also apply for this recruitment, provided they can produce proof of their degree at the time of selection.
Talking about the age limit, the age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1 April 2025.
IBPS PO Recruitment 2025: Opportunity to become 5208 Probationary Officers
The recruitment process is going on for 5208 Probationary Officer (PO) posts in the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The application process has started from today i.e. 1 July 2025, and candidates can apply till 21 July 2025. Recruitment will be done in 11 government banks, including Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, and UCO Bank.
Candidates need a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India. The age of the applicant should be between 20 years and a maximum of 30 years as on 1 July 2025.
IBPS SO Recruitment 2025: Apply before 21 July
The application process is also going on for the posts of Specialist Officer (SO).

Bank of Baroda has announced bumper recruitment for 2500 posts of Local Bank Officer for eligible youth across the country. Candidates can apply online for this recruitment till 27 July 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the bank www.bankofbaroda.in.
Candidates applying for this recruitment must have a graduation degree in any subject. Also, the candidate must have at least one year of work experience in a bank or financial institution. Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 21 years, and the maximum age at 30 years.
