Despite achieving significant success in the early 2000s his life took a devastating turn when he landed himself in a legal controversy that not just not ended his thriving career but also led him to take exit from the limelight. How did Shiney Ahujas rising career came to an end? In 2009 Shineys career came crashing down when he was hit with shocking allegations of raping his 19-year-old domestic help. He was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment by Mumbai court in 2011. Despite Shineys constant claims of innocence and the victims recanted statement Shineys career got deeply impacted and never recovered. No filmmaker was willing to work with him after the scandal and his reputation was tarnished beyond repair. Reportedly his recent photos circulated on reddit and the actor looked unrecognisable due to his transformed physique. In the photo Shiney was dressed in a black-hued t-shirt with matching  pants.
