
As excitement builds around the much-anticipated return of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', another familiar face is joining the iconic television franchise. Actor Barkha Bisht has confirmed her entry into the reboot, adding to the growing buzz around the cast of the show.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Barkha said, “Yes, I am joining the show,” but declined to reveal details about her role. “I can’t reveal much about the role right now,” she added, staying tight-lipped about her character arc. Rumours suggest that she may play the romantic lead opposite Amar Upadhyay, who reprises his role as Mihir Virani, but the actor has chosen not to comment further.
Barkha is a known face in Indian television, having appeared in hit series like Kasauti Zindagii Kay, Tenali Rama, and Shaadi Mubarak. She has also dabbled in films, with her Bollywood debut in the 2010 political drama Raajneeti, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

The actor-turned-politician also expressed her intention to do justice to the legacy of Kyunki by being part of its upcoming reboot.

The new season of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' is set to premiere on Star Plus and JioCinema on July 29.
