In a rare and heartfelt revelation, Kajol recently opened up about her experience working with both Saif Ali Khan and his son Ibrahim Ali Khan. The actress offered an insightful comparison between the two, touching upon their on-screen charisma and contrasting approaches on set.

Kajol Talks About Saif and Ibrahim as Co-Stars

“Camera loves both of them. They both have this X-factor in them,” Kajol said in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama. “Saif is more of a ‘main character energy’ kind of person. Ibrahim, on the other hand, was much more reserved on set. I think he was trying to stay in character in that moment and be quiet and reserved.”

Kajol and Saif’s Cinematic Journey

Kajol and Saif Ali Khan have shared the screen in several films over the decades, creating a memorable on-screen pairing. Their first collaboration was the 1994 romantic hit Yeh Dillagi, co-starring Akshay Kumar. They went on to appear together in Bambai Ka Babu (1996) and the reincarnation drama Hameshaa (1997).

More recently, the duo reunited in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020), further cementing their long-standing creative bond.

Spotlight on Ibrahim Ali Khan

Kajol’s comments have sparked fresh excitement around Ibrahim Ali Khan, who made his debut earlier this year in Nadaaniyan opposite Khushi Kapoor. Although his debut received mixed responses, anticipation is building around his next project — Sarzameen — under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

The film, set to premiere on JioHotstar on July 25, stars Ibrahim in a complex, layered role alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The story and screenplay are penned by Soumil Shukla and Arun Singh, with direction by Kayoze Irani.
