Nowadays chatting has become an important part of people’s lives. Whether it is friend, family members or partners, the day without chatting seems incomplete. Now the conversation is not limited to words only, but people have started expressing their feelings through emojis. These small graphics have become a very easy and effective way to express one’s feelings.

Why is World Emoji Day celebrated?

Emoji was born in Tokyo, Japan, but after 2010 it became famous all over the world. The word ’emoji’ is made up of two Japanese words. ‘E’ means picture and ‘Moji’ means letters. Now emoji has become a different language of digital conversation.

Who started?

Japanese artist Shigetaka Kurita first introduced the idea of emoji. He prepared the first emoji set on 22 February 1999. Later in 2016 the set was displayed in a museum in New York, which gave it a global identity.

The most commonly used emoji:

1. face with tears of joy: When something sounds very funny.

2. Red Heart: To show love and affection.

3. please face: For innocent or passionate appeal.

4. Heart Eyes: To show excessive attachment to something.

5. Rolling on the floor laughing: It is difficult to stop laughing.
