- Due to lack, a person may often feel irritable, sleep problems, and irregularity in heartbeat. Muscle cramps and tingling in hands and feet are its common identity. In many cases, blood pressure increases, bones weakening, and thyroid or diabetes related problems can also occur due to this.
- It has been found in some studies that due to lack of magnesium for a long time, the risk of depression and migraine also increases. It can also spoil the balance of calcium and potassium in the body, which affects the heart and muscles.
What is rescue and treatment?
To avoid magnesium deficiency, it is necessary that you include green leafy vegetables (spinach, fenugreek), dry fruits (almonds, cashews), seeds (flaxseeds, sunflowers), whole grains and pulses in your diet.
If you already have any digestive disease or are getting this deficiency due to medicines, then supplements can be taken after consulting a doctor. But do not take supplement without conducting an investigation, because the excess of magnesium can also be harmful.
