PSG let door open for Gonçalo Ramos’ exit

Champions League winners PSG would be ready to listen to offers for Portuguese international centre-forward Gonçalo Ramos (24), according to a report from The team. Ramos joined the French capital from formative club SL Benfica in a €65m move two years ago, on the back of Ramos’ impressive cameos during the 2022 World Cup.

Ramos’ two seasons at PSG have been blighted by several spells on the sidelines. Besides, Ramos doesn’t quite fit the profile that Luis Enrique expects from a center-forward. Still, Ramos managed to accrue a commendable return of 33 goals in 86 appearances for PSG. But his future with Parisians is not guaranteed.

PSG’s technical staff lauds Ramos’ day-to-day behaviour and the centre-forward is an appreciated member of the squad. Besides, Ramos has accepted he was a second-choice striker given Ousmane Dembélé’s astonishing season. Parisians have no intention of letting Ramos leave on a cheap, but they convey the idea that a deal could be done if an interesting bid finds its way to the negotiating table.
