Bengaluru The Karnataka Government has submitted its report in the High Court regarding the stampede during the victory of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Bangalore during the victory of Bangalore. This stampede took place before the RCB’s Victory Parade on 4 June in Bangalru. The report submitted by the government to the High Court, many serious negligence is mentioned in it.

It is worth noting that Virat Kohli’s name has also come up in this whole incident. It has been said in the report that Virat Kohli appealed to the fans to come to the Victory Parade for free in the video.

On June 4, RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) was held responsible for the stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB suddenly announced a Victory Parade on social media without police permission, which led to a crowd of millions. 11 people died in the stampede.

What is the report that the government handed over in the RCB stampede case?
The Karnataka government has reported to the High Court in the stampede case during celebrating RCB’s victory in Bengaluru, which has revealed many big carelessness and misconduct.

Earth without permission: Event organizer DNA Networks Pvt. LTD only informed the police on June 3, but did not take necessary permission as per the order of 2009. For this reason, the police refused to give permission.

RCB ignored: Despite this, RCB publicly publicized the event on social media on 4 June. Virat Kohli appealed to the fans to come for free in the video.

Crowd of more than three lakhs: In the event, more crowds gathered than expected, due to which the system failed completely.

Pass announcement at the last moment: Shortly before the program started, the organizers suddenly announced that the pass would be necessary for the entry in the stadium. This caused panic among the people.

Huge omission in crowd control: There was a huge lack of coordination between RCB, DNA and KSCA (Karnataka State Cricket Association). Delay in opening the gate and chaos caused a stampede, in which 7 policemen were injured.

Limited program permission after the incident: The situation did not deteriorate further, so the police had allowed to conduct small and limited programs.

Action and punishment: Magistrate and judicial inquiry started after the incident, FIR was lodged, action was taken against some police officers, the Chief Minister’s political secretary was suspended, Intelligence Chief was transferred and announced to compensate the injured.

Keep in mind that on June 3, the IPL (Indian Premier League) was held in a hurry on June 4 after becoming a champion in 2025 and without any accurate planning. 11 people died in this accident while 47 people were injured.
