Introduction to Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana

Like the central government, the state governments also run many welfare schemes for their citizens. One of these schemes is ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’, which will benefit women of Delhi. Under this scheme, assistance of one thousand rupees will be given every month.

Who can take advantage of this scheme?

List of beneficiaries

The benefit of this scheme will be given to those women who:

• 18 years or more
• Studying in school or college
• Are working whose income does not come under the scope of tax
• Are employed in unorganized sector
• There are housewives who do not get government pension

Apart from this, it is mandatory for Delhi to have a voter ID card of Delhi while applying for the scheme.

Which women are ineligible for this scheme?

Terms of ineligibility

If you are already taking advantage of a pension, then you will be considered ineligible for this scheme. Apart from this, tax paying women and government job women will also not be able to avail this scheme.

When will you get the benefit?

Start of plan

Finance Minister Atishi announced the scheme in the budget. He informed that the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana will be implemented from September-October this year. Along with this, it will be officially notified after the Adarsh Code of Conduct of the Lok Sabha elections is over.
