The history of Ayurvedic medicine in India is associated with Vedic period, where people used to solve health problems with herbs and natural remedies. In today’s time, where people have become dependent on English medicines, Patanjali has created a new consciousness by bringing Ayurveda back to the mainstream. Yogguru Baba Ramdev, the founder of Patanjali, is not only making yoga popular, but is also sharing effective measures to deal with problems like obesity and thinness through Ayurvedic remedies.
Recently, Baba Ramdev gave an example of a woman through social media and YouTube, who was also unable to daily tasks due to only 28 kg weight. Their condition is now better and he has increased weight by 10 kg, that too without medicines. Ramdev credited this to Ayurveda and regular yoga practice.
