
Stade Rennais are interested in stadium Brestois 29 Midfielder Pierre Lees-Melou (32), According to Market football. Rennes will reportedly only move for the Frenchman if they lose one of Jordan James, Glen Kamara, or Baptiste Santamaria.
Lees-Melou began his career at US Lège Cap-Ferret before joining Dijon FCO in July 2015. He spent two seasons at Dijon, winning promotion to Ligue 1 in his first campaign and making a total of 52 appearances for the club.
He then joined OGC Nice on a permanent deal in June 2017, making 140 appearances over five seasons at the Allianz Riviera. In June 2021, Lees-Melou moved to newly-promoted Premier League side Norwich City.
After struggling to find consistent form in England, he returned to France following just one season. He signed for Brest in July 2022 and has since spent three seasons at the club – including playing a role in their historic UEFA Champions League qualification and campaign. He is currently under contract at Brest until June 2027.
