Ladli Bahna Yojana aims
The Madhya Pradesh government has launched a special scheme for economically weaker women, named Ladli Bahna Scheme. Financial assistance is provided to women every month under this scheme. The first installment of the new year has been released recently. The scheme was started by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, under which money is transferred to women’s bank accounts every month.
Amount of financial assistance
Under the Ladli Bahna scheme, financially weaker women are given assistance of Rs 1250 per month. The current Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has recently distributed this amount. Many questions are being raised among women about this scheme, one of which is whether unmarried women can also take advantage of this scheme or not.
Eligibility of scheme
Under this scheme, earlier only money was deposited in the accounts of married, divorced and widow women. But former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh had announced that all women over 21 years of age could join the scheme. In addition, two women from the same family can also apply, in which husband, wife and children are considered a family. Women from joint family can also take advantage of this scheme.
