Women police station arrested taking bribe – Obnews

The special team of the Monitoring Investigation Bureau took a major action in Samastipur today and arrested the woman police station officer Putul Kumari and driver Guddu Kumar red -handed taking a bribe of Rs 20,000.

Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Monitoring Investigation Bureau, Patna, said that Rajiv Ranjan Singh, a resident of Chhatauna village of Mufassil police station area of Samastipur district, had complained. A case of assault was registered against Rajiv Ranjan Singh, which was demanded by Putul Kumari, a female police station, for Rs 20,000.

Here, today Rajiv Ranjan Singh reached Samastipur Mahila police station to pay the bribe amount. As soon as he gave money to the police station officer Putul Kumari with the help of the driver, the monitoring team already ambushed was raided.

The team arrested Police Station Putul Kumari and driver Guddu Kumar on the spot with bribe money. This action has stirred up the police department. Further legal action is being taken in the case.
